About the Advisor
Based in Bryn Mawr, PA (a suburb about 30 minutes outside of Philadelphia), Dakota Investments, LLC is a registered investment advisor under the Securities Act of 1940 and is the Advisor to the Hardman Johnston International Growth Fund.
Dakota Investments was founded in 2017 and launched its first mutual fund on February 14, 2018.
Hardman Johnston, the Sub-Advisor to the Hardman Johnston International Growth Fund, is an independent, global equity boutique investing in high-quality growth companies at value prices. Based in Stamford, Connecticut, the firm manages approximately $6.1 billion in assets (as of 9/30/2022) on behalf of corporate and public pension plans, Taft-Hartley plans, endowments and foundations, and high-net-worth individuals. The firm is 100% owned by active employees and Cassandra A. Hardman is the majority shareholder.

Mr. Costin has more than 20 years of experience working with asset management firms. As the founder of Dakota Investments, Mr. Costin set its strategy and focus. He maintains key relationships across the spectrum of investors within the United States.
In 2006, Mr. Costin co-founded Penn Square Real Estate Group, the predecessor company to Dakota Funds Group. Prior to founding Dakota, he worked in intermediary distribution for Cramer Rosenthal McGlynn and in intermediary sales with Turner Investments. Mr. Costin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Communication from the University of Virginia in 1989.

Mr. DiDomenico brings over 19 years of industry experience to the firm and is responsible for managing the firm’s day to day operations including product development and growth initiatives. His responsibilities also include the effective identification, measurement, control and management of compliance risk. In addition, Mr. DiDomenico is also responsible for the development, implementation, review and revision of the compliance risk procedures and systems.
Prior to Dakota Investments, he joined Dakota Funds Group as President and the firm’s Investment Director, leading many of the sales and marketing efforts. Prior to joining Dakota, he was employed as a Product Director at The Hartford, the Director of Investor Relations at Penn Square Real Estate Group and a Relationship Manager for institutional clients at The Vanguard Group. Mr. DiDomenico graduated from Villanova University in 2000 with a Bachelor's degree in Finance.

Mr. O’Grady brings more than 25 years of industry experience to the firm. Besides responsibilities of manager selection and monitoring, Mr. O'Grady also focuses on Dakota Investment's distribution efforts. Prior to joining Dakota Investments in January 2018, he joined Dakota Funds Group as Chief Investment Officer, leading the firm’s partnership selection process. Prior to joining Dakota and Marmont, Mr. O’Grady also founded Access Distribution Partners, where he helped raise several billion in assets across multiple strategies. From 2002-2005, he was employed as a trader and portfolio analyst with Coda Capital Management; where he assisted in portfolio evaluation as well as the firm’s marketing efforts. Mr. O'Grady also held multiple positions in sales and trading at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse and Bank of America. Mr. O’Grady earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies from the University of Notre Dame in 1989.
